A free-standing three-storey chalet with five double bedrooms (four can be set up as twins), all en suite, for families or groups of up to ten. It stands on a hillside with balconies and terraces overlooking the village and the three Zermatt ski areas. There is no direct Matterhorn view, but it gets sun from sunrise.
Access is by a street-level tunnel near the Matterhorn Express base station, then an internal lift; staff move luggage and shopping with an electric wagon and stair lift. The interior is alpine and contemporary in wood and stone, with a wood fire, music system, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and geothermal heating. There is a private sauna and wellness area and an outdoor hot tub on the large terrace.
It can be rented alongside neighbouring chalets Castor (8 guests) and Ibron (8 guests), and next to Pollux, as the 'Les Perles' group of up to 34 guests. Self-catered or catered; half-board includes a chef, a host/concierge and daily housekeeping.
Bedrooms 1 to 4: double or twin beds; Bedroom 5: double bed.
