The Lodge @ 47 joins a refurbished Chalet 47 with the newly built Chalet Frieda, described as the largest boutique chalet of its kind in the Alps, comparable in size and quality to a small boutique hotel. It offers private space for entertaining, partying or relaxing.
17 bedrooms have handmade furniture and generous en suite bathrooms. A new spa has a heated pool with resistance jets, a bubble bench, a jacuzzi, a choice of saunas, a steam room, a relaxation area, a juice bar and a massage/treatment room; it can also work as a day spa on bad-weather days or for non-skiers.
The large open-plan dining room serves a breakfast buffet and can host private gourmet dinners or work as a meeting room. An open bar and lounge extend from it, with breakout second lounges and a TV/cinema snug for families, small meetings or quiet time.
A 2-minute walk to the Nasserein lift station (the first lift of the day), opposite the chalet's ski shop with Kaluma lockers; the last run returns to the shop and the chalet is 2 minutes away, or a driver can collect guests. The children's ski school meets here each morning.
Bedroom 1: apartment with a large suite; Bedrooms 2, 3, 4 and 6-12 and 15-18: double or twin; Bedrooms 5, 13 and 14: master king-size, twin or double.
