The world's largest ski area

Les 3 Vallées links Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens and their neighbouring villages into roughly 600 kilometres of connected pistes. You could ski for a week without repeating a run — and from many chalets, the first lift is only a few turns from the door.

French Alpine luxury is defined by this ease: ski boots warmed in the ski room, a chalet chef preparing lunch, and a terrace in the sun when you return.

“In Courchevel, the day begins with the first lift and ends at a table worth crossing the Alps for.”

Courchevel: five villages, one legend

Courchevel is not one resort but a family of villages — Le Praz, Courchevel Village (1550), Moriond (1650) and the celebrated Courchevel 1850. Each has its own character, from the authentic wooden façades of Le Praz to the sunny, family-friendly slopes of Moriond.

Courchevel 1850 is the jewel: chalets tucked into the forest of the Jardin Alpin, pistes such as Bellecôte gliding past private gardens, and a concentration of Michelin-starred tables rarely seen outside a great city. The altiport, carved into the mountainside, welcomes private aircraft.

Beyond Courchevel

Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe, guarantees snow from late November to May. Les Arcs, linked to La Plagne through the Paradiski area, rewards strong skiers with the Aiguille Rouge and its long descent of more than two thousand metres of vertical.

In Haute-Savoie, Les Gets offers a gentler rhythm — a traditional village within the vast Portes du Soleil, an easy drive from Geneva and ideal for families.
